What is a Shower Shelf?
Shower shelves are used in kitchens and bathrooms and provide a surface that helps better organize kitchen and personal care products.
What Material are Dalsys Shower Shelves Made From?
Our shower shelves are made from high-quality V2A stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance, which is particularly advantageous in the high-moisture environment of bathrooms.
What Different Types of Shower Shelves are Available?
In our shop, you’ll find two different types of shower shelves. They differ both in shape and the type of installation.
We offer shower shelves that can be installed later and have a tileable surface. This surface allows you to choose a tile of your preference, which is then inserted.
We also offer a shower shelf that cannot be installed later and can only be mounted during a complete renovation of your bathroom or kitchen.
How is a Shower Shelf Installed?
The installation of shower shelves depends on the specific model. In our shop, you’ll find three different models of shower shelves.
Retrofit Shower Shelves (with Tileable Surface):
This model allows for flexible retrofitting. You can insert a custom tile into the designated area, which will then serve as the storage surface.
Non-Retrofit Shower Shelves (with Tileable Surface):
This shower shelf cannot be installed later and requires installation during the tiling of the corresponding surfaces. You also have the option to tile the storage area with your choice of tile.
How Long Does it Take to Install Retrofit and Tileable Shower Shelves?
Installation time can vary depending on the type and model of the shower shelf. For tileable shower shelves, you should allow more time since the tiles need to be cut to size first. For shower shelves that are installed during the renovation of a kitchen or bathroom, additional time will be needed due to multiple steps, including the tiling process.
How Do I Clean Retrofit and Tileable Stainless Steel Shower Shelves?
Regularly clean the shower shelf with a mild cleaning agent and warm water. Avoid abrasive cleaners as they can damage the surface. Limescale deposits and soap residue can be easily removed with a soft sponge or brush.
