The aluminium cable duct provides a lead-through for cables between the floor covering and the door threshold. This keeps the cables protected and prevents tripping hazards caused by exposed cables. The grooves in the surface of the floor profile in particular prevent slipping or tripping. The floor moulding has a hinged cover for easy storage of the cables. The cable strip can also be installed in just a few minutes. It can be inserted into a gap between the floor covering and the door in no time at all.
