Are Heat Conduction Plates Necessary?
To maximize the functionality of an underfloor heating system, heat conduction plates are essential. Without them, the heat would not spread evenly across the floor, and the temperature directly around the heating pipes could become excessively high, posing a risk of burns.
What Material Are Heat Conduction Plates Made Of?
The heat conduction plates in our range are made from robust, galvanized steel sheets. These plates offer high dimensional stability, impact resistance, and corrosion resistance. The galvanized steel also enhances heat transfer to the room.
How Are Heat Conduction Plates Installed?
The first step involves laying the profile panels. Next, the heat conduction plates are laid across the area, and the heating pipe with a 14mm diameter is pressed into the plate. Finally, a PE cover foil, for example, with a thickness of 0.2mm, can be placed on top.
The pre-scored breakpoints allow for flexible adjustments, such as covering smaller areas. If necessary, individual plates can be replaced at the breakpoints without having to reinstall the entire system.
