What are plastic gutters used for?
Plastic guttering is ideal, especially for garden sheds, carports, patios and garages. That’s why you’ll find a wide selection of INEFA brand PVC gutters in our online DIY store. These plastic rain gutters impress with excellent material quality and manufacturing standards.
To match our plastic guttering, we also offer a wide range of accessories for cleaning, installation and protecting your gutters.
What types of plastic guttering are available?
Our half-round plastic rain gutters are generally used for larger roof areas of around 50–220 m² (approx. 540–2,370 sq ft). Box-profile plastic gutters are designed for smaller roofs with a surface area of around 15–80 m² (approx. 160–860 sq ft) per roof side. You can find detailed information about plastic guttering on our roof drainage guide page.
How much does plastic guttering cost?
Compared with gutters made from other materials, plastic guttering is very affordable.
However, we recommend taking a closer look at our plastic guttering sets. These sets include all the accessories you need for different roof sizes and applications.
This means the sets give you a more realistic price per metre than buying individual gutter lengths.
Where is plastic guttering used?
Plastic guttering is most often installed by DIYers themselves. Typical applications include roof drainage for garden huts, covered patios, carports and garages.
In addition, plastic rain gutters are also ideal for log cabins as well as residential homes, helping to ensure proper roof drainage.
What are the advantages of plastic guttering?
Plastic guttering offers many benefits. One of the most noticeable advantages is the very low purchase price.
Installation usually doesn’t require expensive tools either: an experienced DIYer often already has common equipment such as a fine-tooth saw (for a cleaner cut), a tape measure or folding rule, a rubber mallet, a cordless screwdriver, a (chalk) line and a spirit level.
Scaffolding and professional tradespeople are also not necessary for typical installation situations, as working with and fitting plastic gutters is straightforward and can be completed in just a few steps.
How long does plastic guttering last?
The material properties speak for themselves: INEFA premium products are known for long-lasting dimensional stability and high UV resistance. They are also completely free from plasticisers and do not become brittle.
For a harmonious look, we offer our plastic gutters in various colours – including dark brown, light brown, grey and white.
INEFA, the manufacturer of high-quality plastic guttering, produces in Germany. For this reason, and because we keep a large stock of all individual parts and accessories in our warehouse, we can quickly supply replacements when you need to renew or extend your roof drainage system.
How do I install plastic guttering?
Installing plastic guttering is very easy – even for beginners. While box-profile plastic rain gutters need to be glued, the half-round PVC gutters simply push-fit together and can be assembled in seconds.
Fixing the gutters and downpipes is also effortless thanks to practical gutter brackets and clips.
