Zambelli - simply masterful drainage
The water collector from Zambelli reliably collects and drains rainwater from your roof. The water collector is attached to your downpipe and ensures that the rainwater barrel is only filled to the desired height.
To install the rainwater collector, you must first make a pipe cut-out with a 30 mm overlap. When making the cut-out on the downpipe, it is also important that you take the height of the rainwater barrel into account.
For a stable connection of the water collector to the rain barrel, a hole must be pre-drilled in the barrel. When connecting the rain barrel with the hose, you must ensure that the hose is installed approx. 8 cm below the water edge.
In the rainwater collector, the water flows down along the inner wall of the downpipe and is collected by the double-walled sheet metal. It is then drained through the hose into the rainwater barrel. When the rainwater barrel has reached the desired filling level, the rainwater is directed back into the water collector due to the counterpressure caused by overfilling, which guides the water further into the sewage system. When rainwater is removed from the barrel, the water level drops so that new rainwater can flow into the rainwater barrel via the hose.
