Our attractive sun sail blocks 90% of the sun's rays and ensures that you can enjoy the warm days outdoors.
Made from high-quality HDPE polyester, our sun sail is both robust and mould-resistant, breathable and colour-fast. This means that it can withstand even extreme weather conditions for a long time and will not lose its colour.
Whether you want to shade a patio cover, a garden or a balcony, our awning is versatile and perfectly suited to a variety of applications.
The following points should be observed when installing the awning:
Sail poles:
- Tilt the sail poles approx. 10 degrees against the direction of pull to achieve optimum tension and stability
Spacing and tensioning reserve:
- Plan generous distances to the hanging position and a re-tensioning reserve.
- Make sure that all attachment points allow tensioning in the direction of pull.
- Remember to re-tension regularly to maintain the tension of the sail
Tension direction:
- Always tension the sail diagonally from corner to corner.
- The concave shape of the sail transfers the tension outwards to avoid creases and sagging
Tilt:
- Tension the sail with a gradient of 20-25% so that water can drain away quickly and no water pockets are created

Application note:
Due to the concave shape of the sail, the tension is carried outwards. We therefore recommend taking the sun sail down in bad weather to keep it in perfect condition in the long term.
